"How Often Should I Treat My Hair? A Guide to Hair Care Frequency"

One of the things I always emphasize to my clients is that beautiful hair equals healthy hair. You can’t have the color of your dreams if your hair is not healthy. That's why responsibility is needed from both sides: 50% from the professional and 50% from the client.

As professionals, it's our responsibility to stay updated with the latest techniques and best products, to use those products in our procedures, and to educate and offer the best products to our clients. There's nothing more frustrating than applying our best techniques and then seeing a client's hair unable to withstand the process or returning months later with damaged, orange hair.

Often, clients don't understand why this happens. That's why I always ask about their care routine. Our role as professionals is to educate our clients about the necessary care so that both parties are happy.

The recommendation I always give my clients is to schedule a weekly task on their calendar to remind them to do the weekly treatment. Each client has a different routine and schedule based on their hair type. While every hair has different needs, there are some products that are like essentials and everyone should have. One of them is the Truss Night Spa, my personal favorite. I recommend it to all my clients for weekly use.

The main way to use Night Spa is to apply it before bed on dirty hair, enough to moisten the hair while keeping 2 to 3 fingers of root dry, and wash it normally in the morning. It can also be used during the day, leaving it on for at least 4 hours before washing, preferably with Truss products specific to each client's hair type. Night Spa helps with elasticity, dry hair, and frizz. If you don't have it, you should get yours now. I promise you won’t regret it. And if you are a professional, start offering this amazing product to your clients. They will love and trust you even more. Use TRUSSCRIS on the button below to get 10% off.
