Which Olaplex should I start with?
No.3 Hair Perfector is the classic starting point: a weekly pre-shampoo treatment for strength. If your hair is already on a routine, No.4 shampoo and No.5 conditioner keep the bond care going every wash.
How often should I use No.3?
Once a week is right for most hair. Very damaged hair can use it two to three times a week. Apply to damp, towel-dried hair before shampoo, leave at least ten minutes, then shampoo and condition as usual.
Is Olaplex a protein treatment?
No. Olaplex is bond building, not protein and not moisture. If your hair feels dry rather than weak, pair it with a hydrating mask so you get strength and softness together.
